Some sales manthras that could change your life!

  1. People don't buy 'product'; they buy what the product can do for them. So use the FAB approach or the Feature - Advantage - Benefit approach

  2. Selling is a daily activity for you; but buying for the customer is not!

  3. Handling objections is a very important aspect of selling. Use the Accept - Ask - Answer method

  4. Success in sales are based on 4 factors:

    • Accurate Knowledge - this will help you to differentiate between the rational and emotional needs of the customers and satisfy them both
    • Effective Communication
    • Following the steps of sales process
    • Winning trust
  5. Be a consultant, not just a sales man or a delivery boy. Always ensure that the product is right for the customer. Probe and analyse the requirements of the customer first and try to suggest suitable products. This will improve customer satisfaction which will eventually get converted into repeat business and referrals

  6. Invest your time, don't spend it. Spending is for vacations, at all other times, ensure that you invest your time effectively to constantly improve yourself in which ever way possible
